Use this breath to break the vicious cycle of worry that is at the beginning of every burnout. This breath will help you reduce stress because of its capacity to ground you into the present moment. It's a great beginning for a mindfulness practice. Try it out. You will feel so centered and calm after doing it. And remember to subscribe to my channel not to miss a video! The sighing breath I learned it from a research made by professor Jack Feldman and his team in UCLA, and spread by Dr. Andrew Huberman in his podcast. Is quite affective and it's part of the natural features that our nervous and respiratory system have as built up. Try it and let me know in the comments how it goes. I can't wear cpap masks or those mouthguards so this is my last hope, because my cortisol levels are at an all time high and my heart and blood pressure is out of control. I'm basically dying a little bit each night.

    How do you intend in the right way? Do you visualise the intention after the breath exercise or do you state the intention verbally to the brain? What is more effective?

    • @rakelsosa
      @rakelsosa Місяць тому

      For me the most effective is to treat your brain as part of your team and tell it what you are up to. I use this for everything. For example, to find my keys when I lose them, etc. I breathe, tell my brain that I want to find my keys, and usually a minute later I am headed to a place for no apparent reason and the keys are there. My brain stores information that my conscious mind doesn't always remember. The breath, calming the brain waves, it creates a pathway that allows effective communication. Specially through the Reticular Activation System. You can also visualise what is it you are intending. Whatever makes you feel more engage with that that you want to create. For me talking to the brains is simple and effective, for other people visualising works better. Explore and let me know how it goes. this is fascinating, and it gives us so much power.

    These exercises are a waste of time for many sleep apnea sufferers. The problem often stems from a jaw that is too small for the tongue, and so during deep sleep, it collapses anterior/posterior, obstructing the airway. Also, the medical system is littered with too much red tape: most times, when a patient sees a new ENT because their prior ones failed them, a new sleep study is required. In my situation, a Midline-Glossectomy resulted in an AHI index below the threshold to qualify for an insurance-covered procedure such as the Inspire Insertion Device. The doctors' offices won't even take me unless I get a new sleep study, and I already know the results before the tests are conducted. I shouldn't have to drive long distances to an ENT office so they can tell me that I'm under the threshold. "Sorry, you don't qualify for the procedure you want to have performed." Thanks for nothing, Doctor. It must be nice to get paid for absolutely nothing. These doctors are mostly money grubbers. They won't go to bat for their patients because we're just paychecks and numbers. That's it. When this financial system collapses, I hope it was worth it for all these doctors with no backbone to advocate for their patients and explain to insurance companies that, based on a patient's particular case and medical profile, a particular medical procedure is necessary to address their unique problem, regardless of technicalities and generalized thresholds that only serve as barriers to a path to full patient health and relief from a life of constant, miserable exhaustion.
